Товар, как описан, в хорошей упаковке, можно и подарить. скорость - не очень. по usb3 различные диски 1, 2 Tb - 40 - 42 Mb/s. замерена winsat. Windows хитрит, - во время копирования показывает 100 - 120 Mb/s, затем, в конце копирования зависает на некоторое время. Я думаю, по итогу так и выходит, в районе 40. Устройство жизнь заметно облегчило с перетыканиями. Интересно будет попробовать в смарт ТВ в выходные. на компьютере "Аватар" mkv файл 24 Гб нормально крутит.

Fast delivery. Good horizontal HDD hot-swap dock. Just as I was looking for. The setup is easy. You get 2 data cables (USB 3 Type B, eSATA), short, cheap and smelly, but they do the work. The PC connection is fast and straightforward: connect the power adapter, connect the USB cable, insert the HDD, turn on the dock (it is off by default, and I like it), the Windows shows your drive in a minute. After using: safely soft-disconnect the drive in Windows, turn off the dock, disconnect or replace your HDD. Repeat. Now I have no need to keep my backup drives always plugged to PC SATA ports. The power adapter could be universal (it has a swappable swappable plug), but Orico decided to supply just the single connector (chosen by the customer, EU in my case), instead of the full set (EU, US, UK, etc). The package is very good - you get a hard carton box with nice design well suited for the storage of the device (even with HDD).

Сегодня я проверил свою покупку, подключив 2,5-дюймовый HDD: устройство работает исправно, драйвер, вроде, не устанавливался при подключении к ноутбуку; подключённый жёсткий диск не болтается, определился быстро; док-станция оказалась на удивление лёгкой. Правда, при частых присоединениях накопителей вы будете царапать горизонтальную плоскость. У меня получилось повредить с первого раза. Кстати, отсоединять HDD было весьма неудобно. Возможно, кому-то лучше подойдёт док-станция с вертикальным подключением накопителя.
